How late do London bars stay open?

Most London bars close at 11pm or midnight. A smaller group holds a 1am or 2am licence, and a handful — mostly in Soho, Shoreditch and Dalston — run to 3am or later at weekends. Sunday to Wednesday, expect earlier closes almost everywhere.

Last entry is often an hour before close, and door queues build fast after midnight. If you're planning a long night, get in before 12 and stay put.
